Story

The Haunting Of Hambridge

Mystery Inc. are called by Alan Dinsdale, a librarian, and old friend of Velma's, to Hambridge Library. He explains that ghosts have started appearing, and that visitors have fled. The only person left is Walter Peabody, Alan's assistant. He believes that someone has used the Tome of Doom, a magical book, that releases characters into the world, and in this case, ghosts. It just so happens that Shaggy and Scooby come across the Tome of Doom and start using it to trap monsters back inside its pages. Now Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby are on a wild goose chase, trying to solve the mystery and sealing the monsters back in the book.

After finding several clues, and Daphne's claim that a person locked her inside a room, the group close in on the suspect. After a failed summoning of a powerful ghost, the suspect is revealed to be Walter. The group find that pages from the book are missing, and that a telegram for Walter, with instructions fro the book, comes from "S.D.". Walter is arrested, and the group are called by the Milton Brothers, who also need help. Alan allows Velma to continue borrowing the Tome of Doom, to further analyse Walter's intentions.

Mayhem At The Movies

The group arrive Miltons Movie Studio, where they are greeted by the two Milton Brothers, famous filmmakers, and the unpleasant Robert Zabrinski, a stylish businessman. The brothers explain that a particular Red Knight is causing mayhem and havoc in the studio. The group split up and look around. One of the Milton Brothers go missing, and a brochure to a theme park is found. The group and the other Milton brother set up a trap for the Red Knight, who is revealed to be Robert. He explains that he was trying to buy the studio, but the brothers refused, so he started dressing up as the Red Knight to scare them and workers away. The missing brother is found, saying that Robert locked him up after he witnessed him dressing up in the Red Knight costume. Daphne has also found some missing pages from the Tome of Doom, meaning that the library case and the studio case are linked in some way.

Wild, Wild West

The brochure of a theme park was found, and the group go there to investigate. They meet Johnny Channayakpatra, owner of the park, and Mindi Stiles, the only employer left working. Johnny explains that the theme park is haunted by mummies. The group split up once again. Shaggy and Scooby find a picture of Robert and Mindi dancing in the Salon and a one-way train ticket for Mindi. Hiding in the shadows, that are stalked by a mysterious woman in a masquerade-esque dress. She is revealed to have powers, and accidentally turns herself into the dustdevil.

Shaggy and Scooby use the Tome of Doom to fight against her. She is defeated, and is revealed to be Mindi. She explains that Robert was also trying to buy the theme park, and she released mummies to scared visitors and employees away, by using pages of the Tome of Doom. Meanwhile, at a secret headquarters, a woman receives word that Walter and Robert have been arrested. A mysterious figure calls them all "weak links" and decides to move on with "the plan".

Bad Juju In The Bayou

In the afternoon, the gang go to an abandoned house in the middle of a swamp. Velma explains that the house is haunted by the living dead and scared all the members of the house. Further exploring sees that the side of a river is an army camp, who can fend off the living dead with laser guns. The leader is Jeremy Rhodes, an employee at Greenwood Development, an organisation of people who study the paranormal. He and his men are there to investigate the living dead, but the cause of them seems to be from portals, found in many areas of the swamp. Jeremy suggests that they go to Sherman-Tech Headquarters to find answers.

High Tech Terror

Fred books a tour at the headquarters, which is scientific facility. There is Travis Sherman, founder of Sherman-Tech, and his chief executive officier, Selena Drake. While Fred, Velma and Daphne take the tour, Shaggy and Scooby sneak off and look around. Later, they find the Spooker 3000, a laser gun that can fend off ghosts. Men in lab coats are seen, and take an interest in Shaggy and Scooby. They return to the others, who have been brainwashed. Travis and Selena are revealed to be the masterminds of the whole "Tome of Doom" case.

It is revealed that Selena Drake, "S.D." was the person who sent Walter to do her work at the library. Walter passed the missing pages of the book to Zabrinski, who in turn passed some to Mindi, who all used them to summon ghosts and demons. Travis also explains that they have built transmitters all over the land of Colorado, to brainwash all humans, by a machine they have built. Shaggy and Scooby manage to disable the machine, releasing Fred, Velma and Daphne to their normal selves.

Alan unexpectedly arrives, followed by the lab-coated men. They show themselves to be undercover agents, revealing that Alan is one too, much to Velma's surprise. Alan explains that they have suspected Travis's scheme for months. Travis gives up and is arrested, however, Selena goes crazy, and flees, just before releasing the most powerful spirits of the "Tome of Doom", the fire ghosts, including the strongest spirit, the Fire King, but they are eventually put back in the book by Shaggy and Scooby. After a chase, Selena is captured and put in prison.

Scooby and Shaggy confesses their need for food, because of a day of hard work, and once again have stopped a villain's plan.
